Engine & Starting Issues
Why won’t my car start?
This could be due to a dead battery, a faulty starter motor, ignition switch issues, or even fuel delivery problems.
Why is my engine overheating?
Overheating is often caused by low coolant, a broken thermostat, radiator issues, or a failing water pump. Don’t drive if the temp gauge is high—bring it in ASAP.
My car cranks but doesn’t start—what could be wrong?
It might be a fuel pump, ignition coil, or spark plug issue. We can run a quick diagnostic scan to identify the problem.
Battery & Electrical
How do I know if my battery needs replacing?
Slow engine crank, dim headlights, or dashboard warning lights are common signs. Batteries usually last 3–5 years.
My car’s lights and radio work, but it won’t start—why?
This could indicate an issue with the starter or ignition system rather than the battery itself.
Do you offer battery testing and replacement?
Yes—we’ll test your current battery, alternator, and charging system, and replace it if necessary.
Noises, Leaks & Warning Lights
Why is there a puddle under my car?
This could be coolant, engine oil, transmission fluid, or even water from your A/C. We’ll help identify the leak source quickly.
What’s that knocking noise from under the hood?
Engine knocking could be due to bad fuel, worn bearings, or timing issues. Get it checked out immediately to avoid major damage.
My dashboard warning light came on—what should I do?
Whether it's the check engine, ABS, oil pressure, or tyre pressure light, don’t ignore it. We can scan the error codes and explain what’s going on.
Brakes & Suspension
Why are my brakes squeaking or grinding?
It could be worn brake pads, rust buildup, or even damaged rotors. Ignoring this can lead to costly repairs.
My car pulls to one side when braking—what’s happening?
This might be uneven brake pad wear, a sticking caliper, or suspension alignment issues.
Is it safe to drive with a shaking steering wheel?
Not really—this could be due to warped brake rotors, unbalanced tyres, or suspension problems. Let us check it before it worsens.
Transmission & Gearbox
My car jerks when shifting gears—is this normal?
No—this may point to low transmission fluid, worn clutches, or sensor problems.
What’s that burning smell when I drive?
It could be overheated transmission fluid or slipping clutch plates. Either way, it's best to have it inspected.
Do you service automatic and manual transmissions?
Yes—we handle diagnostics, fluid flushes, repairs, and replacements for both types.
