OUR SERVICES
We Offer Battery-Related Repairs
Battery Replacement
If a battery is old (usually 3–5 years) or fails to hold charge, it needs to be replaced.
Battery Terminal Cleaning
Corrosion (white or blue-green powdery stuff) builds up on the battery terminals, which can disrupt the connection. This needs to be cleaned off using a wire brush and terminal cleaner.
Cable Replacement or Repair
The cables connecting the battery to the car’s electrical system can wear out, corrode, or become loose. Damaged cables should be replaced or tightened.
Alternator Check/Replacement
Sometimes what seems like a battery issue is actually the alternator, which charges the battery while the engine is running. A faulty alternator won’t keep the battery charged.
Battery Tray and Hold-Down Replacement
The tray and hold-down hardware that secure the battery can rust or break. If damaged, these should be replaced to keep the battery safely mounted.
Parasitic Drain Diagnosis
If the battery keeps dying, even with a new one installed, it might be due to a parasitic electrical drain where something in the car is using battery power when it shouldn’t. A technician will need to track down and fix the cause.
A FEW TIPS FOR YOU!
Check for corrosion
Look for white or greenish deposits around the terminals, which can be cleaned carefully.
Jumpstart the car
If the battery’s flat, jumpstarting may help you get moving but it's a temporary fix.
